starting circuit

85 caddy-starter good- turn key and starter not work. checked fuses ,starter ,...only .56 volts on solenode wire when key turned to start

Check fuse # 13 underdash fuse box. check for voltage key in start if still.56 then ignition swicth is suspect

i guess its a rear wheel drive?if you have no alarms or anything to interrupt the start signal.then check the voltage at the ingnition switch on the steering column.check start signal voltage.
