1985 BMW 735 door locks

Try looking drivers door lock from outside with key and it unlocks and it locks right nack..I can't even unlock from inside. What could it be and how do I fix it?
Please advise. And I can't find a repair manual for it either.

Your central locking issue is very likely to be a rear door actuator or gas door actuator. Open the trunk and disconnect the gas door actuator and see if the system functions normally.
