The gas pedal is on the floor how do I fix it?

Find your throttle butterly assembly under the hood. The gas pedal cable goes to it. There should be a return spring. See if it fell off/broke.

Or your cable itself broke/disconnected. I think thats what usually happens. Been a long time since I worked on 1 of these. Owned a few also.
