1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 T Understand Getting Heat Put Ground Wire On Right

I can't understand why I am not getting any heat if I have put the ground wire on right and put anti freeze in the radiator and put brand new hoses on and when I turn on the blower it works

Is the engine warming up to a normal temp? Did you bleed the air out of the system?

How can you tell if the engine is warming up to a normal temp ? and how do you bleed the air out of the system?

The temp gauge in the vehicle should indicate the engine temp. As far as bleeding the air from the system, if there isn't a bleeder on the thermostat housing, I loosen the return hose from the heater core and allow air to escape from there.
