Had bad fuel in the tank and was wandering what I could do myself

I had recently broke down slowly on the highway just after I bought fuel and came to a complete stop and now will not start at all, I had drained the tank and it was clear looking not thick green diesel and had a brown tinge look about it, real bad looking when is setteled it went clear, I dropped the tank and rinsed it with petrol bolted it back up with some fresh diesel and replaced the fuel filter but still wont start, what else could I do, flush injector pump or something<< thanks
