what type of wrench is required

I asked a question earlier this week regarding dash removal in this car. Haven't heard back, although I did resolve at least one part of my 3 part issue. Anyway, this is a new one. The picture shows what I hope is the last bit to remove before pulling my steering wheel. I should like to know what the name of the type wrench for this bolt before I go off to purchase it. I don't believe it is an allen wrench. That and any suggestions to ease removal will be appreciated!
Also have uploaded a picture of the dash components...any suggestion as to how to remove them also much appreciated.

looks like either a 8 or 10 hex for the steering wheel. you will need a puller as well.

as far as the dash, i need to see the screw head you are talking about
