1984 Mazda Rx7 Fuel Pump Would Times Replaced New One Does Same Thing

fuel problem- fuel pump would pump fuel some times and some times not,replaced fuel pump new one does the same thing. didnot find fuse for fuel pump is there a fuel pump relay some where?

There is a fuel pump cut relay under left side of dash, near steering column and I believe this component is more likely to be the cause unless you have a faulty controll unit.
