cam timming

i took the engine out of my vr commodore 5litre and when it was put back in it wont start pritty sure its the timing my partner fiddled around with it but because its an after market cam the timing is different in the manual we have

cam timing dont change with brands. on 5ltr set timing marks as normal. they may have changed timing gears but the marks should be the same. possibly ecu not recognising cam overlaps
