Howzit.
When it is a cold day or when car been standing for a couple of hours ( early in morning, when engine is cold ). Then it won't start with ignition. There's spark and fuel. The engine turns over, but not starting. So I have to run-start it.
When it is a hot day or when I've been driving for a while, then there is no problems. Starts first time.

Hot Engine = Start ; Cold engine = Not Starting

What could be the cause of that?
( Other Info : If it will help.
One of the previous owners have removed the automatic choke and changed the distributer to points and condenser. I have disconnected the mechanical fuel pump and I put in an electronic one )

Thanks. Jan.

If it has points type dist then check point gap and timing. Then check carb it may need a rebuild due to toadys fuels like it may have ate the inside of the float up. Also before you even start it when cold, press down accelerator and remove air cleaner and see if choke is closing. If it's not then that may be your problem.
