1984 Ford Bronco ignition

When I crank the bronco it starts when I let go of the key it shuts off.I put new tumbler the box under the dash still shuts off when u release the key

Sounds like you have a defective ignition resistor. A tap on the starter solenoid bypasses it during cranking. There were two different coil designs used in '84. I'm not sure what they used for a ballast resistor or resistor wire, if anything. Measure the voltage on the coil's positive terminal with the ignition switch on. If you find 0 volts, follow that circuit back to determine where it's getting lost.
