I just bought a 1984 Dodge D150 long box pickup with a 318 engine that has been converted to propane. It has 2 x 60 pound tanks. I was wondering what my mileage per pound or gallon is since my fuel gauges don't work and I haven't had a place to run it to empty.

Thanks

it will be about the same or a little less than gasoline. Altenative fuel s don't give the greatest fuel mileage.

So I should be able to go about 250-275 Miles (I'm in Canada so 400-450 kms) on a full tank?

Thanks for the help! I will donate soon!

that or little less, although the fuel burns cleaner it doesn't get the mileage gas does. Try it and see we don't runitno many vehicles powered by that fuel but generally alternative fuels-alcohol, natural gas, propane, etc don't get the
fuel mileage.
