turn signal

i have a question about a turn signal on a 1984 camaro berlinetta the turn signal is a switch in the dash not in the steering column and when i hit the button to turn the right side on it flashed once and turns off i have to hold it to get it to flash like a turn signal shoould i already replaced the button and the other side works fine

the switch it stock in the dash its only in the camaro berlinettas 1983-1986 and where is the park turn relay i know you said the light module but i dont know where that is and could this be a fuse thanks in advance

today i thought i unplugged all the wires to the light control module and i hit the blinker and the side that woundnt stay on worked fine and now the left side doesnt work at all ...plugged them back in and the right side you have to hold to get to stay on and the left works fine now im confused....HELPPPPP!!!!
