i'm wondering what the service codes mean on my 84 cadillac fleetwood brougham.

The service soon light is on and stays on. the codes in order as they appear read (after simultaneously holding the warmer and off buttons on the heat an air panel for 3 seconds)

Code 52 - memory has been reset.
Code .7.0 - System ready for test.

Nothing needs be done with above and these 2 codes have to be checked.

Code 26 - Shorted throttle switch sensor.
Code 53 - interruption in the distributor signal,
