When I turn my headlights on my tailights quit working, how do I fix that?

I have replaced the headlight and the tailight switch and checked all of the fuses. I am at a loss

Best retest the combination switch something ain't right power in and out

Turns out it was a bad ground wire in the trunk, I got lucky and found it. Damn corrosion
