You will need several tools, but they are of the basic type. Have a socket set, slip ring pliers, line wrenches, side cutters to remove old cotter pins, new cotter pins, C-clamp to compress caliper (new ones will already be compressed). Always have a couple screwdrivers around and if you plan to make the new brake lines from coil stock, you will need a double flair tool to flair the end of the steel pipe. Also, you will need a pipe bender to form the new brake lines into place.
