1983 Ford Ranger Would Change Motor 2 8 3 0 Bigger Computer Wire Harness There

I would like to change motor from 2.8 to a 3.0 or bigger . Do I have to change the computer and wire harness and is there anything else I would have to do?

yep along with the complete exhaust as well.
