do not get a hot spark from coil. replaced module(bad)but did not help. tried new coil but no help.

it was recommended to change coil, module and pick up in the distributor all together. Ford had that bulletin out in the 80's

Check and test the distributor pick-up coil and also power input to the coil positive terminal.

Thank you both for replying. The trouble was a kill switch that we didn't know existed.
