Starts the first time fine then it warms up, kill it then won't start again,any suggestons?

I have 7.4 lt . new batt,starter,ign coil, starts fine the first time i start it. Stop at gas station and it does not start. starter drags like no juice in it.but if you let it sit for 5 to ten minutes it tends to bearly start. please help

250k miles? maybe main bearings are worn and binding crank. i've seen old chevy 305/350 v8's do that. any kind of rumble at low rpms? or timing is to far advanced?
