Fuel Filter - Fuel Line connection

Originally I was trying to replace my fuel filter which is located in the carburetor. As I was doing that, I accidently twisted the steel fuel tubing for the fuel line, so I replaced all of it with rubber tubing to make everything easier to remove and put back on. Where the fuel line goes into the carburetor there is a smaller bolt where the tubing goes into, and a larger bolt where the fuel filter sits in that screws into the carburetor.

Now my problem is that I can't get a seal on the large bolt screwing into the carburetor. I've used a sealant (which I've made sure it resistant to gas, oil, etc, and is used for threaded connections) but despite every attempt, I can NOT get it to stop leaking.

(I've talked to an person at O'Reilys [they sell car parts and what not] and the guy thinks that there was a "paper gasket" that should have been where the threaded connection is, similiar to a washer, I believe. But I never noticed anything similiar to that when I took the bolt off in the first place)

It's a metal washer type of seal. It shoudl be available, if not you'll have to find a carb in a junk yard and replace the whole large nut with it. If you use any kind of sealer on the threads use the teflon type by locktite or another manufacturer and don't go crazy with it. Do not use teflon tape.
