1981 Volkswagen Van Vw Vanagan Westfalia Brake Lights Wont Turn On Figured

i have a 1981 vw vanagan westfalia and my brake lights wont turn on. I figured it was the pressure switch but I can find where it is to replace it.

There are two switches under the instrument cluster... here's a video of me replacing them:
