I am getting a clicking noise from my starter solenoid. After replacing I still get that click. Where should I start looking. I have a moderately new blue top battery that drains quick. I'm guessing a short somewhere in there. Jus don't know where to begin.

Are you sure the battery is fully charged? Will it crank with a jump?

You can remove the starter and take it to the parts store to be tested. Or if you have a test light you could test for voltage at the starter while someone else turns the key.
