1981 Amc Eagle Car Will Start Ignition You Cross Over Solenoid Replaced

car will not start with the ignition, but will start if you cross over the solenoid. i have replaced alternator, starter, and solenoid. alternator was bad. i cannot find fuseable link. does it have one? can only find info on 1983 eagle.

What is the symptom? Do you hear the solenoid click when you turn the ignition switch to "crank"? If not, start by checking for voltage on one of the smaller plugged-in wires when a helper turns the ignition switch to "crank".
