I have a 1980 GMC sierra 1500 with a 350. I dont know much about trucks or cars. But I was driving in snow on a dirt road and hit a deep rut dug from people mudding and later on I started hearing a click noise from the front pasenger side and looked under the hood to find gas shooting out of some round thing. What could be wrong?

Some round thing? Can you give us a picture? There are a large number of "round things" under the hood.

Is it a 2WD or 4WD vehicle?

Leaking fuel pump. Really easy to fix. 1/2 or 9/16 wrench or socket and ratchet, as well as (preferably) 1/2 or 9/16 inch flare nut wrench. A regular open end wrench will work, but you have to be careful to not round off the fuel line fittings.

As for the clicking, look for something hitting one of the CVJoints on the axle on that side.
