(1) Why my Chevy Custom Deluxe 10, 250 straight line 6 cuts off when braking?

(2) Same vehicle - why does tranmsisson jerks when placed in drive or reverse?

Otherwise runs fine. Help

1. idle circuit in carb may be that issue.

2. once the carb is repaired, see if the issue still exists.
