I have a 1980 chevy k10 and my headlights or running lights do not work at all, switch is good, bulbs are good, traced all the wiring and everything is hooked up right. Been fighting with it for two weeks now and have no idea what to do. Any suggestions? I am desperate!!!!! Thanks!!

Check if there's voltage on any of the wires to the head light switch. If not, suspect a blown or corroded fuse link wire coming off the larger starter terminal. Pull on those wires. If they're good they'll act like a piece of wire. If they're blown they'll act like a rubber band.
