Need step by step procedure for replacement of steering coupling. Can steering box be moved away from the coupler far enough to remove the coupler, without removing the fluid lines? Is it best to work from under the car rather than through the passenger compartment? Thanks.

You will have to go in both places, When I do this I remove the the whole steering colum form uner the dash, and drop it on the seat.then make my way to the gear box.
