1779 mercedes 300d grounding strapes

Just want to know where the grounding strapes are located so I can clean or replace them

Ground straps are usually bolted to the rear of the cylinder head and the bulkhead. Or secured to the block/transmission with one or two of the bolts securing the transmission housing to the engine block.

My reference material doesn't list your vehicle.

On that particular vehicle the main grounds is located on the right side of the engine mount, there is also other ground straps for the body located on the right-Fender, and don't forget to check your battery ground that is located on the right foot hinge.
