1979 Ford F 100 Having F 100 Drive Works Fine First Miles Sudden

Having an issue with my 1979 Ford F-100. When I drive it, it works fine for the first few miles, and then all of a sudden it starts sputtering while I drive it. When I turn a corner it will die but it will start back up and keep going.

Have you checked the fuel pump? Is it pumping enough fuel?
