I been trying to get my truck to run. It will run as long as the starter is engaged when I let off the switch it goes dead. So I crossed out the solenoid it will run as long as the starter is engaged. So I run a hot wire from the battery to the positive side of the coil it does the same thing. I put a new Ignition Control Module
and it does the same thing! So I am stumped any help will greatly be appreciated!

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A BAD KEY SWITCH. IT MUST MAINTAIN POWER TO RUN AFTER YOU LET OFF OF THE KEY SWITCH. THAT MAY BE YOUR PROBLEM.
