neutral safety switch

On October 27, 2010, you answered a question about a 1979 Chevy van starter safety switch. Do you have any idea where one can buy the switch shown in the P model diagram. I have that chassis under an Itasca motorhome. I haven't been able to hunt down that switch. GM says discontinued but I don't think they even know which switch it is. Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks.

hello, i was not part of the original question but i notice in pic that it is adjustable. maybe it just needs adjustment? and if that's not it maybe it's repairable? i get a kick outa doin stuff like that!
