I have a 1979 chevy C10 and it wont start. The battery is brand new, the wiring is brand new and I checked the starter and the starter passed. What could it be

Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire at the starter. If there is no power, check the starter relay and from there move to the ignition switch.
