why is my clutch pedal froze

I just replaced the clutch and pressure plate on my 1978 s-series dump truck and am unable to push in the pedal I have checked and the linkage is free i checked through the inspection plate and both the bearing and arm are fre but will not depress the plate at all am i missing something

You need to open it back up and investigate-something is binding in there

Check the slave cylinder pushrod to see if it is out of alignment causing the binding.
