old school 78 ford fairmont 3.3l 6cyl. would a ignition control module cause a faulty reading in the fuel gauge and keeping the alt. light on. I pulled the battery connections after car started and she kept running perfect. swapped voltage regs, no difference, no issues at all running or starting, just lost fuel gauge in dash.checked all fuses under dash, good.
