Im attempting to remove the th350 tranny out of my 78 g30..... seems like the exhaust is in the way. Advice?

Thanks for the instructions. Its actually a chevy van g30 not a "truck". Im not sure if that makes a difference but it seems that the exhaust pipe crossing over from the passenger side needs to be disconnected from the manifold. The converter underpan doesnt seem to be able to clear said exhaust pipe. Is there a trick that you know of or do I have to disassemble the exhaust system?

I don't know of any tricks. I'd have to look at it. Sometimes you can loosen exhaust and see if you can move it enough?
