Pull No1 spark plug, turn engine with a finger over the plug hole until you feel compression, (have some one turn the engine by hand don't crank. With compression building check timing mark, turn untill timing mark alignes with about 10deg BTDC, pull dist cap and see where rotor is pointing, re align to No1 position, this should be enough to start and re set timing with timing light.
