1978 Chevrolet Malibu sputters

after if gets warm or hot it will sputter and act fuel starved. sometimes I can nurse it along to get going but usually it will die off, after 20 mins or so it will start back up and drive ok. It wont hit passing gear without coughing and trying to cut out. any help appreciated.

O.K. Quad jet Carb? Suspect fuel delivery problem causing vapor lock. Check fuel pressure @4-5 psi
