1978 Buick Park Avenue Car Hit Bump Pretty Hard Cut Battery Cable On

My car hit a bump pretty hard..cut the battery cable on the bottom....went to check the battery connecters broke terminal replaced it... drove it around the corner started smoking from battery cables got a new battery...new cable and starter was dead got a new starter...no power no nothing car acts like the battery isn't even in the car...where do I start and check next... All fuses are ok I don't even get the lights on from when you turn the key. Please help

did you replace the entire cable to the starter motor??
