my 1977 jaguar barely runs and at half throttle

i have to get car started and get it to half throttle inorder for it to run at all and it just barely runs at that point almost like the converter is pluged

check your vacuum on the intake. if it is 15" or below suspect a plugged exaust. also check for a dirty fuel/air filter.
