YOU CAN REALLY CLEAN ALL OF THE OIL OFF USING A SPRAY BOTTLE OF "PURPLE POWER", LET IT SIT 5-10 MINUTES, RINSE WELL WITH WATER.I BUY THE BIG JUGS AND I KEEP A GARDEN SPRAYER TO APPLY IT (SEEMS I'M THE JEEP GUY IN MY REGION, I USE IT QUITE OFTEN)

KEEP IT OFF OF YOUR EXTERIOR PAINT.I ALWAYS WET DOWN MY FENDERS ETC, BEFORE I START THE PURPLE POWERING. THEN RINSE 'EM AGAIN WHEN I'M DOWN

MY TIMING CHAIN WAS PRETTY WORN, AND MY HARMONIC BALANCER SEAL (CRANKSHAFT SEAL) WAS LEAKING ----SO I FINALLY ADDRESSED THE PROBLEM WITH A NEW DOUBLE ROLLER TIMING CHAIN AND GASKET SET (WHICH HAD THE SEAL IN IT)

(THIS MAY OR MAY NOT BE YOUR PROBLEM)

YOU CAN SEE THE BEFORE AND AFTER REMOVAL OF THE OIL CRUD IN MY PICS. WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT!

LET IT ALL DRY GOOD, THEN TAKE IT FOR SPIN

LOOK FOR THE OIL SOURCE, IT MAY EVEN BE COMING FROM HIGHER THAN YOU THINK

IF YOU STILL CAN'T FIND IT. MAY SOUND DUMB. THROW FLOUR ON IT AND LOOK FOR THE WET FLOUR

KEEP US POSTED ON PROGRESS
