Hi I have a Holden 186 (powers my '71 Bedford Camper) I start it every 3 to 6 weeks. Then it wouldn't start.
Recharged Batteries, Cleaned and reset plugs, Cleaned dizzy cap and rotor, Stripped and Cleaned Carby (compressed air) tightened slightly loose starter motor solenoid and it wont start but back fires occasionally through exhaust and carby. Not sure of year of motor but would be'70s. Thanks Dave

Check that the ignition timing is correct, these engines had a habit of stripping timing hears as the original gear on the cam was a fibre compressed gear, check that you have good compression as well, start here.
