I have a 1976 Corvette that I have put a 427 engine into from a 67 camaro. I am currently putting a dual groove water pump pulley on the short pump and when i snug it down it is rubbing the pump in one spot (less than 1/16). Do they make a shim for this or will washers work as spacers? Any ideas?

The pulley has to be balanced and washers might not be too accurate. You most probably has to fabricate the shim at a machine shop.
