New ignition was installed, not saying that has anything to do with problem. The van starts but then stalls when driving then when engine gets warmed up won't start back up til it cools down which takes quite a few hours. Hopefully you can have some advice

Have the fuel filter checked and see what the flow is. To carb, due to being a carb i'm assuming never a rebuild so it could be a bad accelerator pump and or power valve or float is sticking high and flooding it out. All of this would require a rebuild to fix it.
