I have a mercedes 280, 4/74. Carby motor. Engine no 1100110401 twin cam, 6 cylinder. Vin no-11406022105698.I want to put in same motor but injected. Will inlet manifolds change over, want to put carby manifold onto injected motor are mounting points & port holes the same? Any information would be great, thanks matt.

There is a lot to do here, different loom, and the ECU, different fuel pump fuel lines, air filter and it is a different head as well.

On the injection head there are holes for the injectors, not in the manifold. Should be able too block off & just run carbi manifold. Wont have to change loom, ecu etc.

You can turn the EFI into a carby no problems, just have to fit the mechanical fuel pump as the electric injection pump runs at a pressure to high for the carbies to handle, swapping carby to EFI is the problem.
