points and condensor

1973 vw super beetle i bought points and condensor for it took dist cap off and someone has switched it to electronic ignition ...can i take that off and put the points and condensor back in it someone please help he out thanks chris

Just replace back to points and condenser and use the primary wire coming from the ignition switch to the coil's positive terminal

The condenser attaches to the points wire, the condenser usually is attached to the side of the distributor.
