I have a partial car, Motor and transmission are out, waiting to be installed, The car has some things, But missing some as well. Two questions, 1 - "Can I pay a mechanic to look at the car and can he, or is it not possible, to tell me everything missing and required to get it running, Estimated price on that?" and 2 - "Price to install a motor and transmission into a car without an engine and transmission already in it, empty?"

if they know the car they will do what you ask but just remember theprice can vary because when you get a car like this there may be parts missing that you don't see. like bolts/filters etc.
