i have a 1973 Oldsmobile omega with a 350 5.7L V8. i recently put a new edelbrock 4 barrel carb on. it has been running great for about a week now until this morning. i fired it right up until about 10 miles down the road i shut it off at my buddy's house, and it wouldn't start back up. it would crank over but would not start. There was white smoke or condensation coming from the carburetor and the valve cover port that's runs back into my air filter. Any idea what could be the problem?

thanks
