I have the granny low 4 speed manual tranny, and I'm getting two different answers for the fluid specs. At work, the computer says 10w30, but some places say 90w gear oil. I checked what was in it, and it was gear oil (it seemed surprisingly new, which is strange since I've never changed it). What is the recommended fluid for that particular transmission? Thanks.

I have always used 90w gear oil. the newer units do use motor oil and some use auto trans fluid. I would not vary from what is in there.
