can I swap brakes

i need to know if the calipers on my 1973 dodge sportsman camper van will fit on my 1978 dodge futura camper van. I got a new van but the front brakes went out but i just did the old ones?

the old one is a 1973dodge spotsman and the new one is a 1978 dodge shinook futura

Try bolting the caliper to the new one and see if it works

oh ok thanks :-) but...how do i tell without doing all that? It's dark, i'm a chick, new to this car thing sorry :-/

GO TO AUTOZONE.COM

PLUG IN EACH VEHICLES INFO (NEAR TOP AND CENTER--"CURRENT VEHICLE")

THEN GO TO THE TOP RIGHT AND ENTER THE PART YOU NEED (OR HAVE)

DO BOTH VEHICLES---COMPARE THE PART NUMBERS

IF THEY MATCH--IT WILL INTERCHANGE

I DO THIS MYSELF SOMETIMES
