Have a 1972 Beetle Bug. Horn will not work. Checked the fuse it was o.k. got it to honk 4 times in a row then it quit.

First, check to see if there is power to the horn itself. If there is, replace the horn. If there is no power, remove the steering cover on the steering wheel and make sure nothing is corroded or damaged where it makes contact.
