sputters bad

My ford 390 with a holley 500cfm sputters badley when under a load and acceleration. but idles fine. any ideas changed accelerator pump. messed with timing advanced to retarded no help,

Check to make sure the accelerator pump is working properly. Make sure there are no vacuum leaks, make sure the fuel pump is supplying enough fuel.
